Outdoor Dining Space
New Urban Typologies
Final Edit.jpg

This design seeks to create an attractive and dynamic outdoor dining space in response to the COVID-19 crisis. We perceived the global pandemic as an opportunity to rethink urban space and generate new social metropolitan forms. In conjunction with these ideas, this project is shaped by the NYC zoning code, COVID-19 regulations, economic factors, and client requirements. The dynamic geometry and radiant iridescent acrylic material blur the boundary between inside and outside, providing privacy for users while retaining a unified social space in this public installation.

Transforming Outdoor Dining Spaces Into Stunning Destinations

We offer several production-ready designs. Easily adapt them based on your unique requirements.

Our robotic laser cutting system perfectly constructs materials. We manufacture and build modular pieces of designs off-site, then assemble them on-site. That saves you costs for permits, liability, and construction.

Operable panels enable ventilation when desired.

The panels are rotated and arranged to generate a three-dimensional pattern reflecting every color in the visible spectrum with varying light sources and viewer positions.

We use iridescent acrylic material that changes your guests’ experience based on light and viewpoint. Colors shift dramatically across the spectrum, transforming every meal into a performative work of art.
